Today is Movember 30th. The last day of Movember, the month in which I donated my upper lip to natural hair growth in the name of Prostate Cancer and men’s health.
It’s been an amazing month which culminated with an amazing Twitter turnout out for the first annual #CyberGivingMonday! We started a trend together and it was awesome. If you have any #cybergivingmonday success stories, please let me know. Living Philanthropic received reports of over $2K to different charities via the Living Philanthropic Tally Form. Hutchinson Cancer Center used the tag in a email campaign and raised nearly $6,000 on #CyberGivingMonday! And in honor of #CyberGivingMonday, Ticketmaster and Live Nation with the personal support of Michael Rapino and Nathan Hubbard have pledged $10,000 to charities selected by Living Philanthropic! I am extremely grateful for their support. I will be choosing 5 charities to receive a $2K donation to support their work. The 1st recipient is Foundation Escalera, Inc. for their ongoing work in education in Mexico and #2 is Movember USA for changing the face of men’s health and prostate cancer awareness. So I would say #CyberGivingMonday was a success!!
On this last day of Movember, please consider sponsoring a Mo will a small contribution, by the end of the day this moustache (pictured above) will have raised nearly $4K for Movember, LiveStong, and Prostate Cancer Foundation!
Special thanks to anonymous(tache) donor Cypher, Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and all my friends and family for their contributions!
