Day 303: The Pixie Project

Today’s give encompasses many of my favorite things, bowling, Portland, and animal rescue. The Pixie Project in Portland, Oregon is having a Furbowl-a-thon to raise money for their animal rescue and adoption work, so I decided to give my daily donation to one of the teams. They also have a generous donor matching donations, so that doubles my contribution, which I also like.

The Pixie Project is a non-profit animal adoption center & pet supply store conveniently located five minutes from downtown Portland, Oregon. Pixie’s goal is to help alleviate overcrowding and lower euthanasia rates at high-intake county shelters by taking adoptable animals and matching them with loving forever homes.

The Pixie Project is dedicated to providing animal adoption in a nurturing environment and affording access to spay & neuter services for everyone.
