Standing Up for My Dad

It’s been really hard for me to write this post. I’ve been pretty emotional this week. My dad has been diagnosed with Lymphoma and we are waiting for a biopsy to find out what stage it is in. He’s a strong willed man and taught me how to swing a hammer and how to measure twice and cut once, for those skills he handed down to me have come in very handy. I do love him very much and I am saddened that he has to fight this disease.

In his honor, I am pushing hard on this month’s featured charity which is ironically and appropriately Stand Up To Cancer. Please join me in rallying support for Stand Up To Cancer in honor of my dad and make a donation to the Crowdrise team page.
