Looking to do a little good? Help my friend Henry on this Habitat for Humanity project and make an impact.
Greetings, person on Tumblr!
I’m embarking on a Habitat for Humanity Global Village build in Vietnam this summer. We’ll be working with the locals in Tien Giang province in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam for two weeks. Nearly 70 percent of the Vietnamese population live in areas exposed to frequent typhoons, floods, and mudslides. Building affordable, durable, and sustainable housing with and for the families there will not only mean a lot for me, but also have an actual, tangible, and positive impact.
If you follow my Tumblr, you’ll know that I’ve been giving $25 to a different charity each month. I only ask that you make a one-time donation of any amount toward Habitat for Humanity Vietnam. I’ll even bring back some Vietnamese paper money for anyone who donates $25 or more as a token of my gratitude and a souvenir from Vietnam.
My fundraising goal for Habitat for Humanity Vietnam is $800, and I need to reach that goal by April 12. I pledge to match every dollar that goes into filling the fundraising bar with another dollar of my own. Please help me reach my fundraising goal and support the Global Village program by making a contribution! If you absolutely cannot part with $10, $20, please spare 10, 20 seconds to reblog this post.
Thanks for the support and reblogs!
