I’ve been involved with The Art of Elysium for around nine months and my only disappointment is that it took me so long to find them. From the moment I heard what their cause was, I was hooked.
I chose to volunteer with their arts program being that I’m a painter. From my very first visit I was so touched by the reactions of kids. It sounds cliche but seeing just one of the kids smiling, laughing, and having fun makes my day every time.
It has also helped me as an artist, the kids inspire me to be more playful and fun in my own work. I feel very fortunate and blessed to be able to share my passion for art and get to help kids be kids. Thank you Art of Eylsium.
